Drop by our community room as Jess and Ronnie lead a different hands-on activity or welcome a new guest speaker each month! Intended for grades 6 and up. All materials provided by the library.
Help us welcome special guest Autumn Barnett, Park Program Services Leader of Carter Caves State Resort Park, as she tells us all about the Junior Naturalist Program!
Designed by park staff and launched earlier this summer, the program encourages kids and teens to explore geology, ecology, hydrology, and other natural sciences through the medium of the park itself. There's plenty to do and plenty to learn, even for those of us who already live close to nature!
