Are you part of the LGBTQ+ community, or maybe has a friend or family member who is? Queer youth and their allies are invited to attend these meetings where your questions, curiosity, problems, and more can be discussed in a safe environment.
Letter writing is a dying art. Join CJ and be one of the few helping to keep this wonderful and beautiful tradition alive! Write a letter to someone special, or be a part of our initiative to deliver little random acts of kindness around Rowan County by writing to a stranger. We provide the stationery, you provide the words! Intended for ages 13+. All materials provided by the library.

Summer Reading has begun, and the adventure begins here at your public library! We're kicking the season off with a big carnival, complete with all kinds of games, popcorn and cotton candy, prizes, and even a petting zoo!
