Program Description

Event Details

Our library history and genealogy programming promotes an awareness of and interest in local heritage. Cindy's presentations are different every month, covering a wide variety of topics, and we often welcome special guests! Intended for ages 18+.

UPDATE: Speaker Crystal Marshall's appearance has been postponed due to illness, but we'll have a different great program for you at the same time, so don't miss it!

February is Black History Month, and we're excited to have a presentation by Crystal Marshall of the National Underground Railroad Museum in Maysville, KY! She'll be speaking on the museum and its work, the nature of the Underground Railroad, and specific escape routes used by enslaved Black Americans in their battle for freedom.
