Program Description

Event Details

We're celebrating Women's History Month with a bridge-building competition! Why, you may ask? Because Emily Warren Roebling, who guided the completion of the Brooklyn Bridge, broke new ground as the first female field engineer. Also it's fun.

In honor of her, as well as countless other women in STEM, come and compete to see who can build the sturdiest structure with only a handful of household items! The winner will get to choose some books from Megan's secret stash (and Megan has great taste so you know you want in on this). 😙👌

All materials provided by the library.
